Narine is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and a licensed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Trainer.

He is experienced working with a diverse population struggling with various issues related to mental health, employment, policy advocacy, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

He has a passion for people and humanity and believes in Caritas. Each person, regardless of their circumstances, has something to offer; he meets people where they are at, without judgment, and always encourages them to maximize their potential.

Academically, Narine is a first-generation graduate with over a dozen college/university degrees, including a master’s in social work. Currently, he’s finishing his social work doctorate and expects to graduate in 2024. He is humbled by awards and has received over 200 prestigious awards for his community work and love for people. These include the International Customer Service Director of the Year Award, the Public Peace Prize for SOCIAL Integration and Community Engagement, the Distinguished Social Worker Award (Ontario Association of Social Work), Canada’s Top 25 Canadian Immigrants, and the Waterloo-Wellington Diversity Award, to name a few.
